Does Entry Desk post entries to my general ledger?
No. Entry Desk has no connection to any ERP or accounting system. It reads only the register you paste, and everything it produces is a draft staged for a preparer and a controller to review. The prompt forbids it from claiming an entry was posted, approved or filed.
Is this accounting advice?
No. Entry Desk does not provide financial, accounting, audit or tax advice. It applies the entry types, debit and credit conventions, approval matrix and review checklists published in three open agent skills to the register you paste. A qualified professional reviews everything before it goes anywhere.
What can I do without signing in?
The whole deterministic engine. Paste your register and the browser types every item, parses the money and the dates, computes the period portion by day count or whole months, builds the full amortisation or depreciation schedule, checks that its periods sum to the basis to the cent, finds duplicates and out-of-period items, applies your materiality floor and validates account codes against a chart you paste. Nothing leaves the page until you ask for a run, and both bundled examples replay a saved model output for free.
What are the three lanes?
Triage decides item by item whether each one belongs in this close, naming the cut-off date that decides it, the materiality test and the approver. Entries drafts the balanced debit and credit lines for the items that belong, with an audit-grade memo and the reversal flag. Schedule builds the multi-period release calendar behind every term-dated item in the basis / period portion / already booked / this period shape.
How do I know the model did not just make the numbers up?
Because the browser computed them first and checks the answer afterwards. Every schedule and every period portion is computed deterministically from your own dates and amounts, sent into the run as facts, and then each drafted entry is re-checked for debits equal to credits, agreement with that computed figure to the cent, account codes present in your chart, and the debit and credit sides facing the right way for the item type. Disagreements are shown as disagreements.
